I recently watched a BBC documentary about the most hated family in America. It was a cult (though they denied being a cult) thats main focus was to tell people how God hates everyone, how everyone go to hell if they are not part of their church, how "fags" are God haters, how people who don't resent "fags" are God haters and how God created the war in Irak so he could kill the troops for revenge (wtf).

The headman of the church was a bitter, old man, who was horribly rude to the interviewer and wouldn't answer any of his questions. Their main belief was that everyone else will go to hell except the 70-75 members of the church. They weren't trying to save souls like normally churches do, they just made huge protests with signs; "God hates America", "Fags hate God" etc. The church was formed by a family with 11 children plus their grandparents. The children did not have any friends outside the church members, though they attended school, dating was not permited, having children was a sin (WTF) and even one of the adult children had to ask her mother for permission to everything she did.

The small children took part of the protests that they do everyday and have clearly been brainwashed by the churches strict rules, they did not even understand what a so called "fag" even meant. When I watched this documentary I didn't know wether to laugh or cry... It was just pathetic. They attended funerals of young, dead soldiers and yelled that God wanted him to die and to go to hell.

They truly believed that every single person but them were going to hell and literally everybody hated them. I felt really sickened by it and I felt truly sorry for the children born in to the church. They were clearly motivated by the fear of going to hell. I think every single person has the right to believe or to join a religious group or whatnot if they don't force or cause harm to others who are not part of it.

I am not a christian, nor do I belong in any religious group, but I'm not an atheist either. I think the people who started cults like this should have their heads checked or sumthin coz it was all so wrong... Those people beliefs were the complete opposites of my moral standards, like gay hating (something I just don't understand). If that's the way we should live, if that's what we are supposed to believe, then I'd be more than happy to be the first one in line to the gates of Hell.
